Why does my Nest say “Energy Rush Hour”?

During Demand Response Events, your Nest thermostat will display an “Energy Rush Hour”  notification. This means that these events are active. “Energy Rush Hour” is Nest’s name for Demand Response Events) and means that CoolCents is making slight adjustments to when your HVAC runs to reduce energy use during the hours of highest demand.
